Vintage Guilloche Compact Purse 1920's Engine Turned Wristlet PurseThis 1920's silver and guilloche powder and rouge compact purse is in excellent condition, with no dents, dings, rust or corrosion, and has a pretty little enameled guilloche in light green with a pink rose and dark green leaves. The compact has a nice engine turned design that was so popular in the 20's. It opens to a dial sifter powder compartment on one side, and a mirror and full rouge compartment on the other side. The mirror does have some haze,

making it perfect for gifting

and the compact on top opens to a large mirror

The beveled mirror does have some very slight haze

and could be attached to a keychain when you don't want to wear the necklace

It comes complete with the original double lipsticks

but it does have some small areas of wear and chips to the burgundy enamel

These lovely little fairy compacts were designed by Maxfield Parrish in the 1920's

The piece measures approximately 5 inches in height not including the chain by 5 inches at the widest point of the bottom of the purse

The color on the side of the book is "Natural"

with only slight tarnish that enhances the lovely pattern

It measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in length when retracted
