A Georgian paste set silver buckle. c1800A small Georgian buckle with black spot pastes set in a silver frame. The anchor style chape and the prongs are steel. 4. 6 x 3cm In excellent condition no damage and the pastes are the originals. Stock no. LK40

It was made for a fitted sewing box sold in the original spa town of Spa now in Belgium

In excellent condition- no damage and with a good spring to the blade

There is lead present and it extends

a button hook and a needle case

It is made like a sandwich with two pieces of cut glass with colored foil between

The case is in the form of a miniature writing box

An 18th century shuttle engraved with floral sprays and bordered by a wavy line around a bird's foot pattern

The metal is decoratively engraved and filled with red lacquer in parts

A bone lace bobbin inscribed Queen Adelaide horizontally in red and black

There is slight wear to the silver spring cover at the hinge on the knife

Inside it is lined in blue velvet so it probably contained a glass bottle originally and was taken home as a souvenir perhaps bought at the hotel illustrated

The piece is in excellent condition with no damage
