SOLD……A rare 18th century Irish silver stock buckle. Dublin. Maker GTAn unusual late 18th century silver stock buckle with Irish silver marks. It has the Hibernia mark, a harp for Dublin and the maker's initials GT. There is a fourth which may have been the date letter but it is obscured. It is in good condition apart from a break in the thin silver that wraps around the central brass spindle (see photos) 4. 5 x 3. 5 cm 1. 75 x 1. 25 inches Stock no. KX15

The arms are short as the glasses were held at the temple- an easier fit when worn with a full powdered wig

An attractive pink glass thread winder made in two parts with a paler pink glass on the reverse
