Paul Flato Powder Compact Vintage 1940s Gold Plated Enamel Compact RAREThis is an original vintage 1940's Paul Flato powder compact. It's lovely, with it's gold plating and unique floral raised enamel design. It's in nice condition, but does have one faint indentation on the front lower left corner, and one more noticeable one at the center bottom of the compact. It has a gorgeous gold plated lid and interior finish. It has some light scuffing wear, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece. The compact

On the other side of the plate that lifts up is an empty compartment

This piece has a beautiful raised Art Deco design on the lid

and is a fantastic vintage display piece

They work smoothly by turning the knob at the base of the center support

It has a pretty vintage aged crackle parchment paper top that is lacquered

The piece measures approximately 2 inches square and is in good condition

and the lids have gold washed interiors

with a pretty detailed blue guilloche with white enamel details around the center guilloche
