Silver Plated Red Enamel Pill Box Victorian 1900's Snuff Box TrinketA pretty little red enamel and silver plated lid pill, snuff or trinket box from the early 1900's. It's in great condition, and the lid snaps securely shut to keep your pills secure. It actually is much more attractive than our photos show. The base of the box is made of brass, and the lid has a silver plated overlay in a clear gloss deep red enamel. It measures approximately 2 inches in length by a little over an inch in width, and is about 1 2 inch

The ashtray shows some slight wear to the gold trim

and labels

as it is not hallmarked in any way

It measures approximately 7 inches in height

and also has the original plastic top

and the rouge compartment has the original rouge and puff

The compact measures approximately 2 inches in length by 1 3/4 inches in width closed

and when you close the case it automatically pops open the lighter to light your cigarette

It measures approximately 3 3/4 inches in length

The chain adds an approximate 4 1/2 inch drop from the top edge of the purse

but does have some scratches and tiny spots of discoloration to the metal
