Elgin American Guilloche Enamel Compact 1930s Art Deco Powder Rouge Mirror CompactThis is a gorgeous 1930's Elgin American Art Deco guilloche enameled powder, rouge and mirror compact in excellent to near mint condition. The compact measures 2 1 2 inches in length and 2 1 2 inches at the widest point. The guilloche enameled piece is 1 1 4 inches diameter. The compact is in excellent condition, as is the mirror. All hinges and closures work properly. Inside, there is a compartment for rouge, with some remaining, and one for loose

it's not damage

and gradating to smaller stones

and aqua and cream

and the original oval powder puff that is in wonderful condition

This is a really lovely 1940's Art Deco silver and blue enamel Elgin American powder

no chips or cracks

but does show some dark spots from age

just ever so slight tarnish

The original paper cover is still over the powder

With the push of the button the lid opens and the bird reaches in the box to lift out a cigarette

It is approximately 4 1/4 inches across at the base by 5 1/4 inches in height
